Rootles is made and maintained by one person, and I read everything that comes in. The best way to reach me is email:
What I'd love to hear about
- A wrong root. Every etymology in the games is cross-checked against Wiktionary, but mistakes slip through. If a puzzle claims a word came from somewhere it didn't, tell me — ideally with the word and where you think it actually comes from, and I'll fix it.
- A puzzle that feels off. Too hard, too easy, ambiguous, or just not fun — that feedback shapes what gets built next.
- A word or root you'd like to see. The catalogue grows constantly; good suggestions get added.
- A bug. If something breaks, let me know your browser and device and what you were doing, and I'll chase it down.
Response time
This is an independent project, not a company, so replies come from me rather than a support desk — usually within a few days. There's no phone line and no contact form that routes into a void; it's just email, and it reaches me directly.
Press & other questions
For anything else — writing about Rootles, using a screenshot, or a general question about the project — the same address works. Put "press" in the subject and it'll get to the front of the queue.
